Dr. Morales made a difference in our community as a professor at the School of Nursing. Dr. Morales has been a strong advocate and supporter of maternal child health. For many years she volunteered her time by providing Lamaze classes to expectant parents from Memorial Medical Center, Mountain View Regional Medical Center as well as from hospitals in El Paso. She continues to serve our community in a variety of ways. She currently serves as co-chair of the Las Cruces New Mexico Breastfeeding Chapter, Parish Council member at Holy Family ANCC, and provides referrals to the birth worker community.
