Liz Liano

Liz is an advocate for those struggling with mental health conditions, helping to fight the stigma around Hispanics/Latinx suppressing their emotions and not reaching out for help. She regularly hosts poetry and music shows that are themed around mental health and community. She also writes for the magazine, Influence NM, where she interviews community members and discusses how mental health plays a role in the workplace. Liz has also hosted a NAMI fundraiser where city council members read poetry to bring awareness to NAMI and the various local programs to help those in need.
